A Postcard from Lyon
Most postcards I received contains picture perfect sceneries with dedications that trifles on the trivial. Seldom do I receive postcards that are simple yet deep in thoughts. Here’s one that was just recently sent to me by a colleague, our INGO’s former Country Representative in the Philippines.

June 3, 2005: Lyon, France
Dear Cris,
“Although I do not believe in an after life, I will take some change of underwear” - Well, this statement by Woody Allen is the farthest possible point in a lay (agnostic, probably) vision of the world - it comes from an American, but it looks very European to me, totally apart from any crusade on terror, Islam and heretics of sort - there is no clash of civilizations, just plenty of stupid rulers.
All the Best,
Tommaso
Tom is now presently Country Representative to another INGO working in Indonesia. He’s giving me hints to work with him there. A thought that I’m also entertaining right now.

@ dops: Thanks for the comments dops. I will serve the people yes, but not by becoming a politician. The problem with our politics is that we have so many politicians, hehehe. About your PS, you enhance the image (i.e. putting shadows on it) by using photoshop and then you post it in your blog.
