I have been itching to say something about Bishop Noel’s ridiculous precepts on the death of the Bohol children for days now but I recanted because it seemed to me that the Bishop has just been mindless for a moment and he doesn’t deserve my commentary. Kako’ baka nabugok lang ang ulo.

Obviously, Bishop Noel is just one example how religion, and the Church for that matter could at times be extreme in its view of the world that some of its men resort to unbelievably distorted, out-of-touch and utterly insensitive declarations.

My only hope is that Bishop Noel’s words did not reflect the official sentiment of the Church, otherwise it is just the best way on how to lose followers.
