I quite starkly remember that momentous World Cup goal of his, coming from a far distance in the left field, he boomed the ball and it went like a guided missile just below the goal line. It's amazing how that ball went in with such intended accuracy that the crowd, and the world for that matter held their breathe. I knew then that he was the next big thing in foor ball.
