Saturday in the Park
While most parents prefer to take their kids to the malls on weekends, we took Maia for a walk in Bagumbayan. Yes, Virginia, in Bagumbayan, the one you know as Luneta or in its formal and official nomenclature, The Rizal Park. Maia, Ate Bebing, Bambit and Me all went off to an enjoying weekend at the Park.
This was Maia’s first walk in this historical landmark. She enjoyed playing at the Children’s park, wandered aimlessly at the Orchidarium, the Japanese and Chinese Gardens, and tirelessly ran around Rizal’s Execution Site. We ended our Luneta stroll by having drinks of juice and tea at Golden Horizons, at the back of Quirino Grandstand.
So, while some kids were getting lost in a busy Mall somewhere, Maia enjoyed playing in the park where her father and mother had once walked and played when they were just kids.
We all enjoyed our Saturday in the Park.
Now we await to our next adventure.

Hi Ayeza,
Salamat sa pagbisita. Maayo gani karon kay medyo gitugot na sa panahon nga makahigayon na pud ko og blog bisan panagsa.
Yeah, you should visit Luneta next time. Parks are fast becoming extinct nowadays in exchange of fancy malls. Kaya before they all disappear, you should visit them, if only to register a memory to look back on in the middle of the night.
Cheers.
